ETA creates chaos on the tourist island of Mallorca
Just in time for ETA's 50 th birthday today so suits the terrorists by their scare tactics to create a stir. The atmosphere there was chaos at the airport and sea port late yesterday Mallorca borders were shut down in the hunt for terrorists who detonated a bomb that caused two civilgardisters life. Meanwhile, the Spanish royal couple to the island tomorrow, which certainly gives another reason for ETA to create chaos.
Last Wednesday a car bomb blew up at the Civil Guard camp in the city of Burgos. Like a miracle no one died, the bomb resulted in 46 injuries. 14 floors of the building was completely destroyed and the 117 people who were in the building, among them 41 children, were evacuated.

Travel residence again
So it's time for me to take a holiday. Tomorrow at 11:10 lifts the plane with a view towards Copenhagen, then it becomes the train over to Malmo. It will be wonderful!
On August 10 I'm back in Madrid again and until then, it will be sparse with updates to the site. In the meantime, why not take the opportunity to sample some Spanish recipes and refreshments are excellent for summertime? e.g.:

Cervera de Buitrago - Mediterranean flair at 900m

For madridbor who have 35 mil to the nearest ocean and just can cool off in pools during the summer, it's great to be able to go into the mountains and near to experience a little Mediterranean flair.
Cervera de Buitrago is located 76 km north of Madrid at the edge of the Embalse Atazar, the largest water reservoir in the Autonomous Region of Madrid. In addition to supply Madrid with drinking water offers excellent bathing pond with its sandy beaches and crystal clear waters.

Cervera de Buitrago is a small village with 142 inhabitants and an area of 12 square kilometers, yet there are here good opportunities for recreation. If you want to practice water sports, it also provides nautical Kingdom Club Norte Sports lessons in windsurfing, sailing and canoeing and offers own parking area, dressing room, workshop and private beach.
For campers there is Camping de Cervera just adjacent to the Nautical Club. There are also other opportunities for ruralt accommodation can be booked through Iniciativas Cervera, see details on their website (in English). The hostel Albergue de Cervera , can seat 60 people.
