Innocent victims murdered by ETA in 2009

So, I was unfortunately forced to start a new list of victims of ETA attacks, I had hoped to avoid it this year. So far this year has 3 innocent people have lost their lives.

Thursday, July 30, 2009:
Two police officers in the Guardia Civil, 28-year-old Carlos Sáenz de Tejada and Diego Salva Lezaun, 27 years old blasted to death when a car bomb exploded at the Spanish Civil Guard barracks in Calvià, west of Palma, Mallorca. The facility is located in a turistzon and the attack caused chaos at ports and airports in the island's borders were closed off after the attack. A second bomb went off in order to facilitate the escape of the terrorists.

Friday, June 19, 2009:
The 49-year-old police Eduardo Puelles Garcia, was killed when a car bomb exploded in Arrigorriaga, near Bilbao, Vizcaya. The bomb had been placed in the rear of the policeman's car in a parking lot near the man's home. They are the first ETA attack late socialist leader Patxi Lopez was elected as president in May this year. Read more here .
