Sangria is a typical Spanish summer drink that we can enjoy
of a warm summer evening.
It can also serve non-alcoholic for those who wish ...
This is needed for 6 - 8 people:
- 1/2 - 1 orange
- 1/2 -1 citric
- 1/2 -1 apples
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 piece of cinnamon stick
- 3 carnations
- 1 bottle of red Spanish wine
- 6 cl brandy or cognac (optional)
- 1 bottle (33 cl) fruit soda, lemonade or soda water
- Ice cubes
Here's how:
- Wash the orange and lemon thoroughly and cut them into thin slices.
- Peel and core the apple and cut it into thin slices.
- Mix fruit with sugar, cinnamon stick and cloves in a large pitcher.
- Pour in red wine and brandyn and stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Taste and if necessary add more sugar.
- Let the pitcher to soak in the fridge for at least an hour.
- When serving, add soda and ice.
- Stir briefly and serve in chilled glasses.
Non-alcoholic sangria: Exclude brandyn and Replace red wine with alcohol-free ones.
As a viable alternative to Sangria why not try Tinto de verano - Spanish red summer wine ? Not as sweet and less alcohol.

Sangria is really amazing good and refreshing. We have a product at the liquor store with ready-mixed sangria on the bottle that has become very popular. It's great to be able to include mobile if you do not have time to mix a pitcher at home. (Article 2401) Although the character of strawberries Erika describes above. It is apparently a local variety with strawberries
